Kirby Hill Farm is nestled on majestic Quaker Hill, a hamlet northeast of Pawling village, New York. The town line borders on Putnam County, New York and Connecticut.

The Appalachian Trail, which spans New Hampshire to Georgia, traverses Pawling, with the trail a stone’s throw away from the Metro-North train’s Appalachian Trail stop, just off Route 22.

Because we believe in responsible stewardship, you’ll find Kirby Hill Farm operates in the most environmentally conscientious way. We’re committed to keeping it the green asset it is. Bedding and manure from Kirby Hill’s horses and cattle are composted.
We also use ecologically-friendly practices in our day-to-day management, while employing the latest technologies to reduce power dependence and minimize pollution of the waste-stream.
THE AREA
Located in Dutchess County, the town is named after Catherine Pawling, the daughter of Henry Beekman, who held the second largest land patent in the county. A section of the town, "the Oblong," was settled by the Quakers in the 18th century. The Quaker Meeting House, still standing today is open for visitors.
