AN AGE-OLD TRADITION
Played in Persia nearly 2000 years ago, Polo was a training game for the kings cavalry or other elite troops. Now an international and Olympic sport, the Game of Kings has arrived at Kirby Hill.
Polo is a sport that can be enjoyed by a variety of people ranging from the serious competitor to the weekend amateur. Men, women and children are all able to play together under the instruction of our experienced polo players on Kirby Hill Farm’s professional polo field. Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment for players to enjoy polo at any level. Our facility is comprehensive, complete with an outdoor arena, boarding, instruction, and grooming services . Our instructors are experienced polo players who teach basic concepts of equitation along with skills required for the game.
BOARDING
Polo barn, developed especially for polo ponies, features:
10’x14′ yoked stalls, Automated fly-control system, Indoor wash stall equipped with heat lamps.
PRACTICE AND PLAY
Our polo field is ready to go. And to keep your skills sharp year round, our massive indoor arena is always ready for practice.
SPECTORS
Outdoor viewing pavilion – a perfect perch to watch the action. Enjoy a drink in our members lounge afterwards.
